Our Inner Circle stocks have had a solid finish to the year, and I’m pleased with how we’re positioned heading into 2015. But before we ring in the New Year, I have one last sell I want us to make.

People’s United Financial (PBCT) came to my attention almost exactly a year ago because the stock seemed like the ideal way to squeeze upside out of what then looked like rising interest rates right around the corner. Although the Federal Reserve managed to hold on throughout the year, PBCT still offered one of the best dividend yields in the banking industry.

Now that we have cashed a full year of those dividend checks and the stock itself is back in the black, it’s time we made room on the Buy List by taking our profits now. Sell PBCT.
